The Informed Sport and Informed Choice site registration program is a unique certification that provides in depth analysis into critical control processes with a focus on testing for and preventing contamination of finished products within the manufacturing process by WADA banned substances. Through 6 monthly independent on-site inspections and extensive swabbing of our manufacturing, storage and packaging areas this helps us identify areas of risk and provides reassurance to our customers that we are doing everything we can to prevent contamination within the facility for substances prohibited in sport.
the European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance is the trade body representing the interests of the sport nutrition sector throughout Europe. The primary goals are to promote regulatory compliance within the sector and fair business practice, both sentiments that resonate with our mentality at Calleva. ESSNA also inform, lobby and advise the main legislative bodies within the EU and submit regular reports to it’s members to ensure that we are always up to date with the latest developments and laws within the ever changing and complex world of Sport Nutrition.
The British Contract Manufacturers and Packers Association is a well respected trade body with over 100 members, including Calleva. BCMPA are a valuable resource to us as a contract formulator, manufacturer and packer, and our membership reinforces our commitment and belief in providing the highest quality and best value service to our clients.
The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is an annually audited certification program that focuses on setting high standards for food safety, quality and operational criteria within the company to ensure utmost legal compliance and consumer protection. It is the benchmark standard for best practice within the food manufacturing industry and is the basis upon which our robust QMS (Quality Management System) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) program is based.
