FI Europe Paris 2025 was a standout event for us at Calleva Ingredients and Calleva Nutrition, and we’ve returned feeling genuinely inspired by the quality of conversations, the level of innovation on display, and the appetite across the industry for what comes next.
Over the three days in Paris, we had the opportunity to reconnect with existing customers and meet many new ones, all keen to explore what 2026 will bring for food manufacturing and ingredient innovation. From cleaner labels and functional performance, to texture, stability and plant-based reformulation, the depth of discussion showed just how forward-thinking the market has become.
One of the highlights for us was seeing so many familiar faces, including our valued partners from the Wellma Group. It was great to see people from our group including Fipros, Private Label Factory and Plantacorp.
Events like FI Europe are always a reminder that strong partnerships sit at the heart of real innovation. Reconnecting in person allowed us to move conversations forward and explore how we can continue to support brands together in the years ahead.
We also spent a lot of time talking to new customers about the growing role of functional fibres and natural texturisers in modern formulations. In particular, there was strong
interest in how pectin and citrus fibre can be used to improve texture, mouthfeel, stability and clean-label positioning across a wide range of applications – from functional beverages and plant-based products to nutraceutical and sports nutrition formats. These conversations reinforced what we already see in the market: brands are looking for smarter, more natural ways to deliver performance without compromising on label integrity.
Looking ahead, we’re excited about what we’re building with JRS Silvateam behind the scenes. While we’re keeping the details under wraps for now, we can say that we’re working on something genuinely exciting for next year that will bring new value to our customers and unlock fresh opportunities. Watch this space.
Finally, we’d like to thank everyone who made time to meet with us in Paris. Whether you’re a long-standing customer, a new contact, or a partner exploring what’s next, we really value the conversations we had and look forward to continuing them as we move into 2026.
The future of food and nutrition is moving fast – and we’re proud to be part of shaping what comes next.
A huge thank you goes to our partners at JRS Silvateam for welcoming us onto their stand throughout the show. Being hosted on their stand allowed us to have high-quality, focused conversations in a collaborative space, and it was fantastic to work so closely alongside their team for the full three days.
