02 Oct Another successful season for Somerset!
The Cricket Season has now come to an end for our friends at Somerset County Cricket Club. At the start of the season, ‘All-Rounder’ Lewis Gregory and a number of his fellow players visited Calleva for a tour of our innovation lab and production facilities to see how their tailor-made nutritional products are produced.
Last weekend Clive Griffiths, MD of Calleva Nutrition had the honour of presenting Lewis Gregory with the Supporters Player of the year Award at the Somerset County Cricket Club Players’ Dinner in Taunton.
Lewis who also received the White Ball Player of the Year award had a phenomenally successful 2018 season with bat and ball. In his first season as captain he lead a strong Somerset side to T20 finals day.
It was also announced that the 25 year old all-rounder had been called up to the England Lions squad for a tour of the UAE this winter together with follow team mates Jamie Overton, Craig Overton and Dom Bess.
Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Team, Joel Tratt sent us this great photo of the team keeping hydrated at Trent Bridge in the last game of the season. Joel said “A huge thanks to Clive and all the guys at Calleva for keeping the boys fuelled all summer long!”
